When we build a water-well, a whole village has access to clean water for life. This water provide a family with the seeds and tools to cultivate sustainable agriculture, grow their own vegetables that not only feed their family but also provide an income for purchase of books so that children may attend school and youth will be empowered.
Worldwide 1 of 5 deaths is due to water related disease
More than 1 Billion people do not have access to clean,
safe water
Half of the world's hospital beds are filled with
people suffering from a water related disease
80% of illnesses are linked to poor water and
sanitation conditions
1 out of every 5deaths under the age of 5 worldwide is
due to a water-related disease
Lack of medical resources increases death rates
WATER IS ROOT TO POVERTY ERADICATION
Leading educators, economists & health experts
agree that providing clean water and nutrition are our best investments towards
poverty eradication. Without access to reliable source of water, food is hard
to grow and children are most susceptible to water-borne diseases and malnutrition. Good health allows
children to attend school & be educated, enabling them to be industrious in
building a good independent future for themselves and their families.
A small investment in developing a water-well can have
a huge impact on community health
and crop production. Our goal is to bring clean,
sustainable water supplies to within a mile of a village. We work with local
well-drillers to build wells at schools and other central locations so children
can stay in school and mothers can be educated as well. By making the process
of collecting water more time-efficient, we're giving children (especially
girls) a chance to get back into the classroom to break the cycle of poverty
for themselves.

Children get back to school instead of collecting dirty
water all day, or being sick from waterborne illnesses. Parents find more
time to care for their families, expand minimal farming to sustainable levels,
and even run small businesses.
The social and economic effects caused by lack of clean
water are often the highest priorities of communities in under-developed
countries. The World Health Organisation has shown that for every $1 invested
in water and sanitation, there is an economic return of between $3-$34!!
“That which you give in usury for increase through the property of
(other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which you give for
charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase); it is those who
will get a recompense multiplied.” (Qur'an, 30:39)
INVEST TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE CONDITION
Shamsuddeen Muhammad bin Abee Bakr Ibn Qayyim
aj-Jawzeeyah (d.751 A.H.) -Rahimullaah- said: "Indeed Sadaqah has an
amazing effect in repelling different types of trials and tribulations, even if
the charity was given by an evil person, or an oppressive person, in fact even
if it was given by a non-Muslim! Indeed Allaah Ta'ala repels different types of
trials and tribulations due to giving Sadaqah. This is a matter which is
well-known to the scholars and the general folk, and all of the people on the earth
can associate with this fact because they have experienced it." [Taken

Shamsuddeen Muhammad bin Abee Bakr Ibn Qayyim
aj-Jawzeeyah (d.751 A.H.) -Rahimullaah- said: "There are types of
medicines which can treat illnesses which the minds of the senior doctors
cannot comprehend, and that which their sciences, experiences and measurements
cannot reach. These are the medicines of the heart and soul, and the strength
of the heart, its dependence upon Allaah and trust upon Him and seeking refuge
in Him. Prostrating and feeling in dire need of Allaah and humbling oneself for
Allaah. Likewise giving Sadaqah (charity), making Dua", repentance and
seeking forgiveness, being good to the creation, aiding the distressed and
liberating from grief and unhappiness.
Indeed these types of medication have been used by various nations, who are upon different religions and communities, and they found that they had an effect in the treatment of illnesses, which even the sciences of the most knowledgeable doctors could not reach, and they have no experience nor measurement of it. We have indeed experienced these matters a great deal and as others have, and we have seen what ordinary medicine can and cannot do.' [Taken from: 'Zad al-Ma'ad' 4/11-12]

1. A man asked Abdullaah bin al-Mubarak
-Rahimullaah- about ulcers that had sprung out on his knee for about seven years,
and he tried to treat it with various treatments, he had asked doctors but to
no avail. So Ibn Mubarak said: "Go and dig a well in a place where people
need water, indeed I hope that there springs up water there, and by that you
stop bleeding." The man did that and Allaah Taýala cured him." [Taken
from: 'Seerah Alaam' 8/407]
2. Al-Bayhaqi quoted a story of our Shaykh al-Haakim Abu Abdullaah -Rahimullaah- who was afflicted with ulcers on his face, and he had tried a number of treatments but they did not go away, and it remained like that for nearly a year. He then asked the teacher, Imam Abu Uthmaan as-Sabooni to make Dua' for him in one of his gatherings on Friday, so he made Dua' and many of the people with him said Ameen.
When it came to the next Juma' a woman came to the gathering and left a brief message saying that she had gone back home and exerted herself in making Dua' for al-Haakim Abu Abdullaah that night, and that she had seen the Messenger of Allaah -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- in her sleep, and it was as if he was saying to her: tell Abu Abdullaah to distribute water amongst the Muslims. I came with that message to al-Haakim, and he ordered that a watering place be built at the door of his home, when they had finished building it, he ordered for water to be poured into it and ice placed into that water, and then the people began drinking from that water. Not a week had passed by, except that it was obvious that his health had been restored, and the ulcers had ceased. His face had become better than it was before, and he lived like that for a number of years.' [Collected in 'Saheeh Targheeb wa Tarheeb' No. 964 Albaani declared it to be Saheeh Maqtu, 1/p.568]

INVEST IN A WATER-WELL TO SAVE LIVES
Make a one-time
investment that will reward you a lifetime. When you invest in a water-well,
without any more effort, it will be counted as daily sadaqah by Allah s.w.t. as
many people within the community use the water as soon as they wake up in the
morning until before they get to bed at night. As promised by Allah through
Quran and Hadith of Rasul (s.a.w.) this good deed shall gain the pleasure of
Allah s.w.t. and Allah has promised to ward-off evil and afflictions, as well
as increase your profits in dunya and akhirah.
Charity causes a prosperous or bankrupt
day
The Messenger of
Allah (s.a.w.) said: "There is not a day in which the obedient slaves rise
in the morning except that two angels descend, and one of them says: 'O Allaah!
Compensate the one who gives in charity.' The other angel says: 'O Allaah!
Destroy the wealth of the one who is niggardly." (Al-Bukhaari and Muslim)
INVEST IN LOVING MEMORY
Giving in charity
(Sadaqah) is a deed designed to eliminate suffering of others, and water as the
source of life is the cause of most suffering. It is for this reason, that we
find the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) encourages charity in the form of water
for in loving memory of deceased family members as well as to ward-off prolong
or deathly illnesses, to ward-off evil and afflictions, as well as increase
your profits in dunya and akhirah.
Charity
for the deceased
Sa’d (r.a.)
asked the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.), “O Allah’s Prophet! My mother died
without leaving a will. Is there any benefit for her if I gave charity on her
behalf?” The Prophet (s.a.w.) replied “Yes, I advise you to give charity
through water” (reported by Al Tabarani)
Ceaseless
Charity
“When a man
passes away, his good deeds will also come to an end except for three; sadaqah
jariyah (ceaseless charity), a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous
descendent who prays for him (the deceased)”

The most beloved deed
before Allah (swt) is that which is continuous, even if it is little. The
constant giving of a little is said to please Allah more than the occasional
gift of much. The type of continuous giving in the form of charity is known as
“Sadaqah Jariyah”.
Giving of oneself –
of one’s wealth, one’s time, one’s energy, even one’s goodwill is an act of
charity and has an integral relationship with Allah (s.w.t).
We will put up a
website whereby you can view the picture of your well when it has completed
construction, location of where your well has been built along with information
on the community your well is serving. You are also welcome to visit the
village, we are sure the community will be pleased to meet with you.
Charity
cures illness
“treat the sick
with alms (reported by ad-dailami from Ibn Umar)
Charity
Increase Wealth
Messenger of Allah
(s.a.w.) said : He who spend their wealth they will be given the blessing of
it” “It is not charity that reduces the
property but added the Glory of God and He will raise the person in rank”
(reported by Muslim)
To address the above problems, 3 projects have been
established :
1. Development of water-wells in every
village for supply of clean drinking water
2. Supply of nutrition-filled meals
for healthy development
3. Provision of "Education
fund" to sustain education for orphans and poor children
Strengthen Your Sincerity
Sadaqah should be given solely out of love
for Allah, out of the desire to do good to His creation, as the Quran says
about the righteous : “They give food, out of love for Allah, to the poor, the
orphans, and the slave, saying : We feed you only for Allah’s pleasure – we
desire from you neither reward nor thanks” (Quran 76:8-9)
